Ceylon Silver Needle
This is a beautiful and unique silver needle white tea from Sri Lanka. These are made with strictly the bud of the tea plant, creating a delicate, light, sweet, and floral brew, with notes of melon and peach. The leaves are long, with white and grey, and if you look closely enough, you’ll see little trichomes, or white hairs surrounding the bud, which protects the newly formed bud from the elements.
The Kaley Tea Garden is surrounded by forests, and faces Sinharaja, Sri Lanka’s largest rainforest and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Teas grown in the Kaley Tea Garden are grown regeneratively and organically in this forest setting, hand crafted by tea professionals.
